Hello and welcome. I’m Jodi Morel, founder of IDMD Marketing and Media Calgary, and a lifelong storyteller with a passion for connecting traditional media with modern digital marketing.
My journey began in 1992 when I moved to Calgary, Alberta to study journalism at SAIT. Over the past 30+ years, I’ve built a career across radio, print, television, and digital media. I’ve worked in roles including radio advertising account manager, market research manager, and digital marketing manager — gaining deep insight into how local businesses succeed in both traditional and digital advertising environments.
I’ve worked with respected media organizations including Corus Entertainment, Bell Media, Harvard Media, and Newcap Radio. That experience shaped my understanding of audience behavior, campaign strategy, and the power of integrated marketing. Today, I continue to support media initiatives connected to Shine FM, helping Calgary businesses align radio and digital campaigns for stronger, measurable results.
